The Bay of Wrecks - Fort Dauphin

Fort Dauphin is the capital of the Anosy region, located in the South East of Madagascar. It is a region full of resources that embraces its name: the city of diversity.

When to go

Fort Dauphin is a region that is rather hot but with significant rainfall. With more precipitation in Summer than in Winter, it is more interesting to go during the months of June to November to enjoy the splendour of the place.

How to get there

A national flight allows direct access to Fort Dauphin from Antananarivo via the airline Air Madagascar. The journey takes only one hour. Taking the road to Fort Dauphin can also be interesting because the landscape is full of surprises.
