This region has a high-altitude tropical climate. The weather in Ampefy is thus pleasant throughout the year. However, to enjoy the beauty of its natural treasures to the fullest, it is preferable to schedule your stay during the first months following the rainy season – starting from April.

How to get there

Renting a car remains the best option to discover Ampefy and its vicinity. It will give you more freedom in scheduling your trip. However, you can also opt for a taxi brousse ride from the station at Fasan’ny Karana, in the South of Antananarivo.
