Visit Bezaha Mahafaly Park

 
Bezaha Mahafaly Park is on the National Road 7 from Antananarivo to Andranovory, then branch off to the National Road 10. Then take the road to Betioky-South, at Betioky-South is the fork to Bezaha Mahafaly.
 
Bezaha Mahafaly Special Reserve is part of the protected area network of Madagascar. Created in 1986, it covers an area of 600 hectares and consists of two plots 10 km apart. The special reserve contains more than a hundred species of birds such as Vanga and Nextonie Archbold. You will also find visible amphibians, and also important an colony of maki (lemur catta, sifaka). During a nocturnal visit, we can discover the gray micobium and lemurs. The park includes 350 species of flora and fauna that are listed, such as girocarpus americanus, pachypodium geayii, cedrelopsis graveii.
 
 
The national park of Bezaha Mahafaly is crossed by the river Onilahy, which gives freshness and a beautiful view during the visit. And for information, Bezaha Mahafaly Park is a natural reserve but also a research centre, visitors can expect to see animals with research devices (necklaces, marking ...)
