Into the wild - Ampasimbe Onibe

 
The refreshing water of the river, the vividly green vegetation and the birdsong make the Ampasimbe waterfall an exceptional spot of calm, serenity and beautiful varied landscapes. Here, lovers of botany can observe different species, such as the African tuliptree or the clitoria ternatea (butterfly pea).

biking tour of the east of the island The site is located in the region of Antsinanana on the RN5 towards Fénérive-Est. 6km to the north of Foulpointe, turn left after the long bridge, then drive along the minor road for 13km, but be warned: some sections of the road are difficult to negotiate, as they are mainly sand and rocks. For most of the year, this destination is often used by 4 by 4 vehicles and, plenty of quad bikes. The narrow muddy tracks in summer make the experience even more exciting and are the promise of adventure. A tour operator specialised in quad bike rental often organises trips with a guide, leaving from Toamasina, promising customers dozens of kilometres of fun and hours of magic.
